Temperatures in Jordan will remain around average for this time of year on Monday before the country experiences a cooler, autumn-like air mass – per ArabiaWeather.

This change is expected to bring further drops in temperature, with cloudy skies and increased winds on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Jordan will be affected by an air mass with lower-than-average temperatures, around 2-4°C below typical levels for this period.

The weather will feel “autumnal” and relatively cool in the early morning, especially in mountainous areas, and mild during the day.

Clouds will increase, with a chance of light, localized rain showers in the early morning, mainly in the northern regions. Winds will be moderate to strong, with gusts exceeding 50 km/h, potentially stirring dust and sand in desert areas.

Night temperatures will drop with the cooler air mass, making the weather relatively cold, particularly over mountain peaks and in the eastern plains. Warmer clothing is advised, as humidity levels rise, and there may be fog formation over some high-altitude areas, especially in the north.

Monday will see generally mild conditions, though it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba regions. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate to occasionally strong in the afternoon. Nighttime will be cool, particularly at dawn, with low clouds, prompting students to dress warmly for school.
